Cleaning shower drain

I've just had a new walk-in shower and the drain is stupidly difficult to clean. The first part traps the hair very well but it's then really hard to get it out. The trap in my old shower was wide enough to get a toothbrush in, but this one isn't.

In the olden days my mother used ammonia to clean hair brushes and combs but I guess this wouldn't be good for rubber seals? Is there a product that woud work, or a tool?

Try to use Quest Digest Plus, it break down organic matter in drains, grease traps, and even septic tanks. This might help your concern. https://rosejanitorialsupply.com

The easier is to blast it with a hand held shower over a bucket then drain through a sieve
