Best Yorkshire Pudding Tin Please

Having spent the last 20 odd years constantly replacing ‘non stick’ cookware,I think I’ve finally nearly nailed it!

The only thing I can’t manage to find is a decent muffin type tray for individual Yorkshire Puddings. I thought the Pyrex one I had might be it, but after a few weeks of use it stopped being non stick and now the coating is peeling off.

I use hot oil. Yorkshire puddings are always great, it’s just the tin.

Has anyone got any great suggestions?

I have a stoneware one but they do come out a. It muffin shaped rather than yorkie. I like to use glass Pyrex lids for giant ones sometimes

I think mermaid make the 'best' ones. Like that's what the Queen would have. If she likes Yorkshire puddings.

Mine is an actual muffin tray from circulon, I use lard and I don't wash the tin. Works perfectly l

You want a decent weight one, mine is years old but think it was from Tesco or one of the other supermarkets, but the higher end range rather than the everyday range.

The key is not to wash them properly as the oil builds up and everytime you use it, you cure it a bit more. I drain any excess oil, then hand-wash in warm soapy water and leave to airdry. I did once decide to use the dishwasher, the next lot of puddings stuck and it took a good few months to get it back to how it was.

Mine looks disgusting, it's black rather than silver and generally a bit scrotty but my puddings are perfect every single time and never, ever stick.

I use individual deep silicone muffin cases they tolerate the hot oil well and flipping them out of the cases is really easy they never stick.

I use a flexipan muffin tray by Demarle. It was expensive but I’ve had it 20 years and it’s still going strong.
