Glass mosaic tiles - Help before I take a hammer to the feckers!

We've had these in our kitchen for just over a week and they are driving me crazy.

They are a nightmare to clean without leaving them all smeary, and then when they are clean they show up every tiny splash or speck of dirt.

Was it a huge mistake? Is there anything I can use to keep them looking a bit cleaner?

Can't help, but considering them for our bathroom, so will be watching closely!

Lakeland sell window cleaner that claims to be 'magic' and coats the glass with a dirt repelling layer, but I'm not sure if it works or if it would be suitable in this case as obviously I will be wanting to clean them regularly, just not as often as I am at the moment!

Can you phone Lakeland and ask - or what about the tile manufacturer?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 03/03/2008 09:46

Good plan, the lakeland people are always lovely and helpful.
I will let you know what they say.

my dh is a tyler,i just phoned and he suggests a good glass cleaner,or vinegar on newspaper,he also says that they will get dirty easily.

That's them off my list then - we need automatic dirt repellant surfaces in our house, otherwise the bathroom will start to resemble a muddy puddle in no time
