I won't go into why, but i need to find a kettle that's super quiet when its boiling. Has anyone found this yet?

I bought one advertised as quiet and it was at first but within a few weeks it was roaring away like the rest of them. I don't think they really exist.

We have one that's allegedly quiet and it's got a little sticker on it saying shhh. I've noticed no difference whatsoever to a normal kettle

I think the problem is that it's not the kettle that makes a noise it's the water. The kettle just heats up. The water boiling makes all the fizzing and bubbly noises.

It's not the cheapest solution - Quooker Tap or any other comparative brand. Boiling water on tap.

I have a stove top kettle. Very quiet in open plan space, until it whistles, but for me much better that even the quietest of electric kettles.

I have heard plastic is quieter no idea if true or not

Try an insulated kettle might be more expensive.

Boil water on the stove in a little pan?
