Thanks for all the welcomes.

My fantasy list for what I want to do today

Empty airing cupboard and put all clothes away.
Fold all the clean dry washing and put in airing cupboard.
Do all the washing.
Give all fresh water to animals.
Clean little loo.
Hoover downstairs.
Clean up the border that DD ripped off last night when she was cross.
Clear our bedroom floor of things.

That will do to go on with I think.

Hello.

I've just had to cancel a planned trip to town wih a couple of friends, as I can't shut the passenger window on the car and ds would freeze.
It means I'll be in doing housework all day.

I need to
get off mn
do the rest of the morning routine
Monday jobs (mop floor, clean bathroom)
hoover plaster dust from hall and landing that dp said he'd do yesterday and didn't.

Ludaloo · 03/03/2008 10:27

Welcome sleepycat Brill list, and when is baby due? I remember the trauma of bump getting too big for jeans!

Everyone is very busy this morning!

I'm back from the doctors (contraceptive injection)
Have about 40 mins now to tidy the house before collecting DD2.
Then its a quick lunch and off to my Welsh Lesson. (I haven't been for absolutely ages, so I hope I can catch up!)

Morning!

Lots of messages already today

Have had hectic weekend, ds1 was 9 on saturday and ds3 is 2 tomorrow so had 9yr olds here saturday night and family yesterday, tere was so much washing up I couldn't face it at 9-30 last night so ran dishwasher and have emptied and refilled it this morning, have also written a morning routine not done much of it yet but working on it

Morning routine

  1. Shower/dress done
  2. Swish and swipe
  3. Feed boys done
  4. Pack lunches done
  5. Make beds
  6. Get boys to dress done
  7. Get boys to school done
  8. Dishwasher done
  9. Washing/ tumble done well dried one lot got another to do yet
10. Downstairs loo s and s

Also need to do some genera tidying as house looks a little like a bomb site having been so full yesterday.
Need to unpack veg box.

Was very glad of flying yesterday when friend needed to throw up and I knew my bathroom was clean enough not to be horrible for her to do so in, if that had happened a month ago would have been a major traumer for me (her too)

TrinityRhino · 03/03/2008 11:01

dame, so pleased for you re having a clean enough bathroom for your friend to throw up in
not nice for anyone but I know what you mean.

damewashalot · 03/03/2008 11:08

I thought someone on here would get what I meant of course throwing up is not fun anyway but a clean loo helps and as I have 2 sons that are terrible shots it really is much nicer now that I swish and swipe.

Ludaloo · 03/03/2008 11:12

lol dame I think I would be quite happy to let someone throw up in my loos too...they stay quite clean these days.

Ludaloo · 03/03/2008 11:13

p.s TR You are more than welcome to finish the cookies off! Take them away!!!!!!!!

lol Dame - Throwing up does give you a different view of a toilet!
Happy birhday for your ds1

I'm back for my progress report. (Thanks sagacious for the kick) I finally dragged myself into the kitchen, and have finished my morning routine, and mopped the kitchen floor.
I need to sort out the hoovering, and then do the bathroom.

back in another 1/2 hour.

babyjjbaby · 03/03/2008 11:40

babyj I think I can beat that.....I have actually only done a load of washing so far today!
Oh and unloaded the D/W
In my defense...I have been out several times this morning.

Just back from picking DD2 who was very upset...she had spotted a spider on her jumper and had screamed the place down! She was very keen to tell me all about it when I arrived.

Lunch very quickly now, then back off out. Won't be back now until after the school run.

Catch you later
