My neighbour is in need of help.

Her 3yr old has drawn on her new Baby Annabel's face with either felt tip or biro pen. They have tried everything from washing up liquid to bleach but its not shifted.

Has anyone got any advice for her????

you could try nail varnish remover

chibi · 02/03/2008 19:21

that's not random - it is a pretty good solvent for many things that are not water soluble

peanutbear · 02/03/2008 19:22

try hair spray

foxythesnowman · 02/03/2008 19:26

Er, have you tried babywipes? They are good for removing a multitude of things.

Its not as stupid as it sounds. They are good for removing all sorts of things.

Or WD40.

Or Cif (formerly known as Jif). Its slightly abrasive. As is a paste of baking soda and water.

Had a baby born that DD1 gave biro chicken pox. Had completely worn off by the time DD3 played with her. But maybe 8 years is a little too long to wait, granted.

Leave in sunlight and wash repeatedly.

Nothing worked for my cabbage patch doll Tracey that my little sister drew on with highlighter 16 years ago

have heard that acne cream containing 10% (...) peroxide, works. paste it on. leave it under either nat sunlight or close to bulb, ensure doesn't burn for a couple of hours.

Another vote for baby wipes. Scary isn't it, the number of different stains that can be removed with baby wipes! ANd we use them on our dcs skin!

hairspray works for biro, spray it on leave for about 10 seconds then wipe off!
