I feel as though this is something I should know.

is it a dyson?

cadelaide · 02/03/2008 16:24

No, it's a George, you can wash carpets with it too.

(But I've only done that once )

Pop a vaccuum freshener inside the bag

cadelaide · 02/03/2008 16:27

Is it really as simple as that?

Gosh, what a slattern I am.

How strange, I had this yesterday for the first time in years. I popped some cotton wool balls with tea tree oil on them in the vac bag and it worked really well.

Ironing lady came to collect the ironing and said the house smelt really clean.

Or you can put lavender drops on the cotton wool balls.

What do you mean about srinky?

If it is dirty stinky then the above will all work.

If it is rubber burning stinky then you need to unclog the head/replace the drive belt.

I've just bought a 250ml bottle of Dr Paulo Vranjes Home Fragrance, the Ginger and Lime fragrance and it's amazing, i love it! Just put one of these in the room you have hoovered and bobs your uncle, the room smells fabulous...and it lasts for months! Well worth the money!

I got mine from a place called No77 Interiors, you can buy them online at:

Hope this helps!
George
