Hotpoint washer dryer clothes damp!

Just purchased a hotpoint washer dryer and was so excited to get it but the clothes are coming out damp even after supposedly drying for 4 hours ! Where am I going wrong. No help from the manual

Never found they were fully dry, only bought it to use dryer in emergencies and used it very rarely. Replaced with ordinary washing machine eventually and no dryer. Think its a common complaint about combined machines sadly.
