Bed bugs?

Can someone please let me know if these look like small bed bugs/bug eggs in our Airbnb's bed's seam? You'll need to zoom in along the seam to see.
Am paranoid and don't want to bring unwanted buggy guests home with me!

It's very strange behaviour otherwise to go looking at the seams like that...

That mattress doesn't look bedbug infested to me 🤷

Is I'm not just some fluff that's gathered in the crease?

We do have bites - but we're thinking they're likely fly/mosquito bites as they appeared on our legs (and a couple on my husband's arms) after we spent the day by a lake in the sun.
I checked the bed to rule out bed bugs, but the specks of brown/black made me worry. I obviously don't often look at bed seams and so I wasn't sure if it's normal or not...

It's not strange behaviour at all. I always check bedding and mattresses for signs of bedbugs when I stay anywhere. I've been bitten by bedbugs before and never want to go through the worry again of whether or not I've brought them home.

OP are you able to zoom in and take a photo? It's impossible to tell from the pictures you've posted.

Did you find out if they were bed bugs after OP?

It's hard to tell from those pictures. Do the spots look like felt pen tip marks?

I don't think they were, but I took steps when we arrived home to wash all our clothes on a hot cycle, and our suitcases didn't see the inside of our house just in case!!

Good thinking, the little buggers make me shudder!

Bugs usually bite in clusters (line of 3 or 4) they go near the face for carbon monoxide. I had them on my arms legs and face not on bits under the duvet

Hired an exterminator and they said there are no bed bugs, but I’m not reassured. Does this look like a bed bug?

I have psoriasis, but don’t think I’ve been bitten by anything.
