Hi, I am wondering if any of you use one to these? I'm thinking of getting a normal A5 size diary and using this to have daily / weekly / monthly jobs and maybe reminders for things.

I have plenty of time for housework so am lucky in that respect. I work mornings only during term time so am home before the kids who walk or get the bus. My youngest is 10 so there is little minding and no toy clutter. I spend my afternoons doing jobs and faffing about but find I am always a bit stressed and can never relax even in the evenings. I would love to just sit on the toilet once in a while without mentally checking what needs cleaning!. Same with laundry I honestly think sometimes its the last thing i think about going to bed and first thought in the morning! I'm hoping by being really organised I will have days off certain tasks and reduce general stress.

I also dropped the ball on a few things recently, like forgetting birthdays. If I am in a shopping centre I'm frantically thinking about whose birthdays are coming up etc. It would be a relief to have it written down so I could clear my head a bit.

Kids have a lot of activities and we already have a wall chart so this would be just housekeeping only. I am going to schedule kids chores better too as I'm tired from asking and arguing and being told it will be done later.

Any thoughts or advice much appreciated!

Try Tody, it's a good little app. I've spent lots of time setting it up and tweaking it, but now I just glance at it to know what I need to do each day without any thinking involved 😁. I pay £4 something a year for the premium version, but I think its gone up to about £9 for new customers. I'm not sure if the premium version is even needed though.
