My stick Vax is only producing tiny jets of steam, even on the max setting. We are in a very hard water area, we think it's probably limescale though it's impossible to open it up for a proper look. Put vinegar in the water tank overnight, no change whatsoever. Local repair place tells me they don't fix them as they are "throwaway items" which I was horrified by. It cost about 80 quid and hasn't lasted a year! Any other things I can try?
