Stone floor cleaning - any thoughts/tips?

My nice bathroom stone floor is starting to look tired (see pics) with dark marks along the edges of the tiles and by the shower.

I think this is because I haven't sealed it properly (am an idiot), so sitting water has started to stain the stone.

Should I get professional stone cleaners in? Does anyone have any experience of using them?

Really hoping it isn't too late to sort it out.

It's not just dirt (though there is also some dirt there at the moment...), it's darker colouring that doesn't go no matter how much I scrub.

The pink stuff. In a pot. And a toothbrush. Scrub like mad. Just be prepared to rinse, rinse, rinse.

Thanks! Does it look to you like it's just dirt, rather than dampness absorbed into the stone?

I will need to research what I can use on the limestone tiles. I've just been using standard stone floor cleaner for fear of damaging the stone.

Here is a clearer pic of the type of damage I'm concerned about. I don't think it's dirt.

The edges of the stone (greyish in the pic) feel damper and rougher than the rest of the surface. I think the top surface of the stone has come off and it's letting in water.

I'm worried that if I clean and re-seal it now, I will just be sealing in water.
