Urine smell in carpet

I've had a friend staying with her young child, he must of peed on my carpet. It's smells really bad.
I've used the vax carpet cleaner with the professional solution that's not worked.
I've used the Dr Beckam that's supposed to kill pet urine but that's not got rid of it either.

does anyone have tips that actually work to kill the smell?

It might be right through to the underlay and floor boards. Maybe lift it up and check. You might need to replace a bit of underlay.
