Staining in a loo

icelollycraving · 10/08/2023 13:40

I have one rarely used loo that had a faulty flush, so water was v slowly trickling all the time. It has stained the white ceramic(?) yellow which looks quite awful. The rest of the loo is clean except for where the water was flowing.
I have tried bleach/white vinegar/bicarbonate/ viakal and nothing is shifting it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Pink paste? Don your rubber gloves and give it a rub with pink paste, that can work well on porcelain.

Citric acid. You can buy in on Amazon. If the stain is above the water line dissolve the citric acid in bit of boiling water then soak kitchen roll in it and then plaster it onto the bowl so it stays in touch and leave overnight

Black harpic gets it off our spare loo but it's a long process. Basically put lots of black harpic on the stain, leave it to soak in, scrub and repeat

Thank you, I’ll try the citric acid because I have tried the other two.
