Talk to me about loo roll please

Looking for one that doesn’t disintegrate on use, doesn’t block the loo (so probably 2 ply, definitely not a really thick one), preferably can be bought at a supermarket. Current brand just crumbles when we use it and looking at reviews this seems to be a common problem. Any suggestions most welcome!

The Romans used a vinegar soaked sponge on a stick, and they knew a fair bit about what does and doesn't crumble.
As an example, their roads lasted for centuries whilst ours are just crumbling away by the minute.

I really like the Sainsburys double rolls. Last for bloody ages and I like the actual paper.

Agreed! I used to but who gives a crap but these are just as good and a fraction of the price 👍

Cheeky panda silky soft. So nice to use and the bamboo is very sustainable

Sainsbury's or waitrose own brand.

Used to buy nicky but it's fragranced and irritated me.

I use Costcos own brand. I think it's the best so far.

Yes , we buy the Costco/Kirkland
But they've made the packs smaller ! I used to wrestle the pack onto the bottom of the trolley , now it fits so much better . I don;t know how much it has reduced by - it's so long between trips there .

Asda Shades for me. You seem to get a lot of loo roll on the roll too.

We also use the Costco Kirkland loo roll , we swapped to it from Andrex . The Kirkland kitchen roll is excellent as well .

Toilet roll first then finish with wipes. Wipes go in the bin.

I use the 6 packs of blue roll in Costco for kitchen roll. I will keep my eye out for the proper kitchen roll now thank you.

I'm really tempted to buy a box of who gives a crap just because it looks nice all wrapped up. But I love costco for the savings

Sainsbury's recycled double rolls are great! No problems with the plumbing here.
