No idea but one of mine carved that very thing into the windowsill!

Carmenere · 27/02/2008 16:37

Have you tried rubbing it vigorously with a small boy?

Reminds me of the time my db wrote in biro on the back of my mothers VERY expensive new coat Oh there was trouble that day...........

Desiderata · 27/02/2008 16:37

Try wire wool very lightly.

Poledra · 27/02/2008 16:38

With a sander ?
Sorry, hope someone else more helpful comes along

saltire · 27/02/2008 16:39

Its a UPVC windowsill by the way, so painting not an option. In a married quarter, so I really need to remove it

Would nail polish remover do it, otherwise you might have to paint over it?

MehgaLegs · 27/02/2008 16:39

x post about the paint thing.

PandaG · 27/02/2008 16:40

nailvarnish remover or white spirit? both worth a try

southeastastra · 27/02/2008 16:40

white spirit or wd40 may be worth a try

Baby wipes?

Alcohol?

Woukd be tempted to write a slightly altered version of the epithet across his forehead TBH...

Desiderata · 27/02/2008 16:43

Oh ... it's UPVC. Do they do one of those Dirt Devil pots for permanent ink stains?

StealthPolarBear · 27/02/2008 16:43

I've always found jif (or any cream cleaner) works miracles, not sure how it will do on PM, but worth a try

ConnorTraceptive · 27/02/2008 16:46

You can buy special upvc cleaner so that may work

saltire · 27/02/2008 16:49

Nail polish remover didn't work. i thinki will ahve to invest in some cream cleaner and see how it goes. I wouldn't mind too much if it was written once, but its down at least 10 times, all in captials.

Personally, I am shocked that you were allowed to call your child after a can of beer.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 27/02/2008 16:50

Did he spell tosser correctly ??

Tortington · 27/02/2008 16:51

the spelling is important

Tortington · 27/02/2008 16:52

i made my kids spell swear words correctly.

its absolutley no fun when you are made to write it over and over

saltire · 27/02/2008 16:53

Oh yes, all the spellings were correct - he's not like me!
I suppose I should be greatful it was only tosser he used. He asked his dad what a c**t was the other night.
