I have a Panasonic sd2500, bought recently and made 2 loaves of wholemeal bread.
Both loaves had the kneading paddle stuck inside the loaf.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't have that model but I thought this was just something bread makers did sometimes. We just pull it out.

Nothing, we've had endless replacements, the paddles just lose their non stickiness quickly. They used to come with a tool to pull them out of the load but we just pull them out.

Yes you just might be unlucky that it happened twice in a row. I have the same model and it happens from time to time.

Donr have that brand but mine always does. Just dig it out with a knife

Thank you for the replies. I didn't know it was normal.

Yes, it’s normal, just pull it out. Don’t forget it’s in there and blunt your bread knife on it..!

I ordered a new non stick one from Amazon for a few quid and it slides out easily.
Sounds like a euphemism.
Soz.
It's not!

HollyBollyBooBoo · 05/08/2023 15:24

Thought they all did this? How could it not bake with the paddle inside it, it's got nowhere to go?

Yarnorama · 05/08/2023 15:30

I always oil the paddle before adding other ingredients (basically, the oil in the recipe goes in first over the paddle!).

Alternatively, pull the paddle out once it's done its job.
