Can anyone recommend a motivational podcast for housework?

As title says, i'm looking for a motivational podcast to listen to for doing the housework. NOT Dana K White - I've done her and she tends to repeat a lot of the same advice so I am looking for something else now

Me too ...I just don't seem to get anything done and I do know that once I get stuff sorted I will feel much better.

I did watch Mel Robbins about doing a task for at least five minutes to begin with which did help me in the past.

Have you done Dana K White (A Slob Comes Clean) @Potterypot - she's great when you first start it's just that it's a bit samey after a year. Same old advice to do your dishes every day, put supplies on Amazon Prime Subscription and get a robot vacuum lol. I really liked her though because she deals with the emotional side of being a slob and how to address it.

For something a little different, cleaning rather than decluttering: The Organised Mum has a patreon (£3.60/mth) where she talks you through a room clean, a bit like a workout but for housework. I think there are some free cleans on the Rock the Housework website (rockthehousework.co.uk) or in her podcast feed so you can trial it. I bloody love it. My house has never been so clean 😆

I think Dana is great if you are really struggling to get your house under control, and her decluttering method is the best. She agrees she is repetitive because her methods work, i think she's more about decluttering than housework these days - i always listen to her videos while I declutter!

I'll tell you what has motivated me recently but it's completely inappropriate and quite frankly wrong...seeing Lucy Letby's bedroom splashed all over the newspapers.

Now, I know you can't keep your house in a photo ready state all of the time but genuinely it has made me think 'I wouldn't want anyone to see that'.

I was going to mention this! It's what I use and she is amazing! I'm so grateful for them!

I have a Pavlovian response to Dana’s voice and find myself hoovering or doing dishes if she comes up in my rotation.

I haven’t found any other specific housekeeping podcasts, but I’ve found speeding up information heavy podcasts helps me concentrate on mundane tasks without getting distracted (adhd hack)

I’m very interested to see what suggestions this thread throws up.

I quite like The Lazy Genius with Kendra Adachi - I think she and Dana should do a collab.

A third recommendation for Rock the Housework Patreon cleans but go through the website instead as there are hundreds of cleans on there now, much easier to search. You can trial the free ones first. When I have a day when i really have very little motivation. I put a guided clean on using headphones and half an hour later, amazing results.
