Can I have your tips for getting rid of "dog" smell?!

I have a dog and have recently noticed the unmistakable smell of dog in my home. Am not sure whether it's gotten stronger or I have suddenly become more sensitive to it but I want to mask it as well as I can. I know I won't be able to fully get rid of the smell because my dog lives here but any recommendations for neutralising the smell a bit?

bi carb on the carpets… sprinkle it on, leave overnight if possible if not a good hour at least and hoover it up. It really works and I would think although don’t quote me, it would be safe for the dog. I have a dog and a cat and use it. Washing dog bed or any throws or soft furnishings the dog goes on regularly.. that really helps also. I also use febreeze on the sofa. Keep the dogs hair short if you can, I find that helps, and obviously make sure the dog just doesn’t generally smell lol. Also, the hoover can get very dog smelling so pop a vac freshener in there and change the bag/empty it regularly
