Silver jewellery storage ideas to prevent tarnishing please? Stackers maybe?

I only wear silver jewellery (necklaces and earrings) and currently store them on a stand thingy so I can see them (as if I can't see them I never change them) Blush but they tarnish a couple of months after cleaning. I've read that they shouldn't be near each other as they start a chain reaction thing but is there another way to store them so I can see them but they won't affect each other iyswim? Wondered about the stackers boxes with little compartments and a glass lid but don't know if they'd be separate enough? I have some JL vouchers so could treat myself but don't want to buy them if I'll still have the same problem Thoughts or any other suggestions welcome!

I think silver just tarnishes all by itself. Maybe go into a jeweller and ask their advice.

For silver jewellery, I would advise you store each price in a sealable plastic bag with an anti tarnish strip then put these in a box. This will prevent the air getting to it and the moisture from the air tarnishing the silver.

I’ve a few bits of silver jewellery and wrap them in handkerchieves, which slows down the tarnishing. You can buy anti-tarnish bags as well, but the main thing is to keep the air away from them.
Also, if you do need to polish them, then jewellery is easier to polish by using silver dip. You just dunk it in, rather then having to rub all the intricate bits.

This is for silver not other metals.

Line a dish with foil....very important.
Half a cup of Baking Soda or Bicarbonate of Soda. NOT Baking Powder.
Cup of hot water.
Leave tarnished silver to soak.

I store my silver jewellery, mostly earrings, in a velvet lined jewellery box. I keep a few 'special' pieces in the separate cloth bags they arrived in. They don't seem to tarnish particularly quickly, I haven't cleaned them for ages.

I wouldn't leave them exposed to the air on a stand as I think they would tarnish pretty quick, but a box/bag is fine.
