Where can I get tea caddies like this one?

This is not a tea caddy. It is the container from a Spanish chocolate powder that I used to get from Tesco years ago. But it makes an excellent tea caddy.

I don't think they were ever intended to be reused so much, and they are wearing out. I need to look for replacements and more. I have five, and that's still not enough for all my teas. I don't want china caddies - too heavy and two fragile. I don't want plastic caddies - too transparent, tea is better kept in the dark.

Please help me replace my perfect tea caddies!

TKMaxx in the home section has lots of really random storage. I've got some lovely storage tins there previously, including some similar (but coloured) to your picture.

What sort of tea do you have? We drink lots of fruit teas and I bought a drawer container that fits a box of bags per drawer. The whole container fits nicely in my kitchen cupboard.

I like that drawer unit idea, but right now my tea caddies live stacked up on the counter. When we finally get around to replacing our decrepit kitchen, I will have a cupboard dedicated to hot drinks. Well, my teas, anyway! Dh can have a corner in it for his instant coffee I'll definitely have little drawer units like those for my individually packed teas. I'll still need caddies for my loose leaf teas and my boxed tea bags.
