I have realised I am a slattern now our washing machine has broken and friends who have kindly let us use their machine have said we can go round every week to wash towels and bedding. Every week?? Our sheets will have never been so clean!

We made such a mess over the weekend that we couldn't find one of ds1's shoes yesterday morning and he had to wear his trainers to school instead.

There's a blob of cereal on the wall that DD3 chucked. Its been there a week. (In my defence, high up near ceiling, and i'm short)

I posted recently that when I finally got new contact lenses I looked around the house and wanted to take them out as it suddenly looked so filthy.

I was happier in my blurry dirty haze.
