Drying clothes using a fan

I have ordered a tilting floor fan to dry clothes on a normal (non-heated airer) as it looks like this will use very little electricity.
Does anyone else do this, and how much electricity do you typically use to dry a full load-any tips welcome 😍I can't afford a dehumidifier!

I know this not what you want to hear, buy I would save up and get a decent dehumidifier. Particularly as the weather gets cooler, a fan is not going to achieve much. I have had the same dehumidifier for about 10 years now and it’s been such a great investment.
