Towels

So I've just washed all my towels. Great day for drying outside. Just brought them indoors and they feel like sandpaper, they're as stiff as a board! Seems I forgot to put conditioner in the washing machine.

I am thinking that if I spray them with water or, even, water and vinegar (not sure if that would work) could I then put them on a low heat in the tumble drier and they'll come out as soft as a baby's bum?

30 mins in tumble and they'll be okay. No need to damp down.

MrsPerfect12 Thank you so much. I've just removed them from the tumble drier and you were absolutely right, they're lovely and soft again!

They recommend no fabric softener with towels as it will lessen their absorption over time.

im not much help because I like my towels line dried hard.

Finish them off in the dryer for a few minutes.
