It isn’t mine, I’ve never used it. It’s dh’s disgusting thing.
Adult dc came to stay and used it and left it open. It’s disgusting!
I wiped it down with soapy water but the door is thick with grease!
It isn’t one with a drawer, it has shelves.

Mine goes in the dishwasher (parts, not the whole thing!)

Thank you. We don’t have a dishwasher.
Can I put a bowl of water and washing up liquid in it?

You can fill it with washing up liquid and hot water, leave for about 10 mins and then scrub for your life!
If you have a de greasing spray, that will work wonders too. Just be careful if it has a non stick coating. You don't wanna scrub that off

Can't your DH clean his own stuff?

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 18/07/2023 07:46

@Seddon yes he can but apparently hasn’t. I don’t use it so hadn’t noticed.

Get him to wash it. Why on earth should you?

Chipsqueak · 18/07/2023 07:52

Wipe it down with sugar soap. That stuff is amazing for cutting through grease, effortlessly. Get the ready made up stuff in a bottle, spray, wipe, jobs a good 'un.

I have a question.

Just got 1st airfryer, Ninja dual drawer 400 one.

Is there an accessory I can buy so that I can make meals with sauces, for instance Thai Chicken Curry or a Moroccan Tagine type thing?
Does anyone cook in their airfryer with sauce -based dishes?

TIA

Isseywith3witchycats · 22/07/2023 20:42

If you want to do food like curries or tagines you need to put them in an oven proof container that fits in the drawer with double thick foil over the top and put it on the bake or roast setting

Wipe it out using any bio washing powder dissolved in hot water. This is also brilliant for cleaning dirty filters in kitchen extractors - works in seconds and filters come out cleaner than in a dishwasher.
