Too much bleach?

I have new cleaners and not sure why but when they are here the house starts to smell so chemically - I have all windows open but it's like furniture polish is being used (I don't have any). Even 8 hours later the place smells chemically and my throat is scratchy.

Never had that before, they are using our stuff but I am not sure what on what things. They did say we were out of bleach when I only topped up the one used in the loo 2 weeks ago.

So would they use that sort of bleach for everything? Rather than say kitchen and bathroom sprays? Rather than just bleach in loo and diluted for floors?

(And yes I can ask but wasn't sure if bleach is normal for all things)

No bleach isn’t normal, you can specify what products you used where and if you are struggling with chemicals buy the method range and ask them to use only that?

Yes I can get method.

Just never been affected before by any cleaning products -we use normal flash sprays so wondering why I am suddenly reacting strongly to the smell now. Can only assume it was just to quantity used.

Smell aversion/s could be a pregnancy symptom?

Just hit 50 so hopefully not :-)

Probably I need to just change cleaners, new ones aren't working out, using wrong products plus the place isn't "sparkling" when they have finished like it had been with previous 3-4. It's just cleaner than it was before.

We've had a few cleaners who have been obsessed with spraying zoflora everywhere. It smells really chemically to me.
