What's the strongest washing line

Washing line has broken yet again and my lovely clean washing has ended up in a muddy garden patch.

This happens pretty much every year it seems. We buy the steel centre, plastic covered lines and they barely last a year whether they are the cheapest or more expensive.

Anyone found a good make that lasts longer?

We do live on the coast and it can be very windy so presume that doesn't help.

Is it the strings that are breaking or the washing line itself ?

It's the washing line itself. I have approx a 20ft long line and it has snapped three quarters away along the line.

Ours is a rotary washing line, but it's from this company and we've never had any breakage in 10 years, so it might be worth trying their replacement line ? https://hillswashinglines.co.uk/product/hills-65m-pvc-line-replacement/

@PollyannaWhittier Thank you for the recommendation. I'll try that one next.

I have a brabantia rotary washing line and I can fit so much washing on it and it stays sturdy. We have cemented the metal spike into the ground to keep it totally secure.
