How can I get smear free windows?

I have just spent ages cleaning my hallway door which has 15 small windows in it. I used Windowlene and followed the instructions. However, no matter how much I am wiping them over they keep looking smeared and dirty.

What is the best way to clean windows?

Newspaper! Spray on the windowlene and then rub with newspaper. That tip is from my Gran and it works.

I've just discovered e-cloths. I used one wet and one dry on my widows at the weekend, with just water, and they look great!

no - do the windowlene first, rub off with e-cloths, THEN rub all over with newspaper!

i tried vinigar and newspaper once

a good spray from supermarket

and a good wipe on wipe off technique using an old pair od underpants
