Need a domestic cleaner for a weekly job

I really really need a domestic cleaner. Once a week on Thursday or Friday mornings or early afternoons. Has to be regular. I have high cleanliness standards for my house and I have been doing the job myself for years, but now with two kids and a full time job its hard to achieve them. I need help!

I have enquired and tried housekeep.com, wecasa and maid2clean (sophiecleans and anycleans won't pick up or respond). Housekeep and Wecasa can't find any domestic cleaner in the West Drayton area that can come without an extra charge.

Maid2clean has cleaners available. But they give your personal phone number to them. And they literally text or call you anytime. You also have to deal with payments with the cleaners themselves instead of through the agency which can get really awkward when all you can do are bank transfers. I have had many back and forth messages (which got quite annoying) for payments and I always end up paying them more. Besides that, you always end up giving them a lot of personal information and it just feels uncomfortable. Also, the cleaners aren't vetted much, and I once had one cleaner who looked like she hadn't showered for days and reeked of cigarettes. Don't judge me please, I understand most domestic cleaners are underprivileged and do such hard work, but I need the person cleaning my house to have some hygiene and cleanliness standards themselves! And to not smoke.

Please reply here if you know any domestic cleaners in the West Drayton area.

Cleaners are easily accessed on Facebook if you do a shoutout on there.

Sorry, to add, they work by word of mouth and recommendations here in south London from what I know so usually reliable and decent. Hth.

Have a search or put a post on your local 'nextdoor' app. People will usually recommend someone if you do your own request post.

Thank you so much! Local facebook group helped. Got so many showing interest within the day.

I don't think most cleaners are underprivileged by the way, I'm one myself and it's a great job. I pick and choose who I want to work for and if I don't quite gel with my customer then I call it a day.
I've been with my current families for 18plus years and have decided I won't be working for anyone else.
You will be best placed by putting a word out on Facebook or the nextdoor app asking for recommendations. It's also entirely appropriate to say you want a non smoker.

Your comment to cleaners being underprivileged is really very rude

The amount of clients I had in my cleaning days with your patronising attitude. Yawn. I never worked for an agency but I wouldn't touch you with a bargepole... Don't be surprised if you end up changing cleaners more often than you change underwear. You sound like a nightmare client.
