Three cleaners??

Recently decided to give a cleaner a try with visions of one reliable lady regularly helping out for 2 hours a week. On the second week she brought another cleaner with her, fine, they finished a bit quicker and did a not great job. Next week brought a different person with them, again finished early but was a better clean. Couple weeks on she wants to bring two extra people.

I'm a bit confused, is it normal to have three people cleaning? It feels excessive and I don't love endless random people having access to my home. I only ask for a quick go over kitchen and bathroom and some hoovering/floors in a small 3 bed house. It feels like a stupid thing to cancel the service over but the cleaning has been hit and miss too. Am I being silly, would you mind it?

It’s ok to feel uncomfortable with her changing the parameters.

I pay for two people at once to come (halves the time) but I knew that was what I was booking from the beginning.

We pay for 3 hours cleaning a week. Sometimes we get 1 person for 3 hours or 2 people for 1.5 hours or 3 people who stay 1 hour. I love it when cleaners come and are gone in an hour! So much more convenient when I'm working from home.

How many person hours in total?

If you want one person, you're the client. It's your home, your money, your choice.

Is she training others do you think? Tbh I'd get rid because it sounds like they aren't doing a very consistent job of it.

We used to have three, but for three hours. It was fine. I loved them being in and out quickly. I guess it comes down to what you’re paying for and whether you feel you’re getting value.

this Isn’t uncommon but personally I’d prefer to know who’s in my house and possibly not as much attention to detail more of a bosh let’s get in and out.

We pay an agency a set price for cleaning. Sometimes it one person takes them a long time other days could be 3 or 4 they get it done faster.
Depends I guess on how many houses in area on that particular day.
Sometimes one starts and other join them to finish.
I like mix people as some do things differently/better then others

Our best cleaning service was like this, they cracked through quickly, no complaints from me on this set up.

I wouldn't accept this. The more people you have in your home, the higher the chances that one will be incompetent/dishonest/covid positive or whatever.
