Mousetraps

I have always used humane mouse traps (and taken the living captured mice a loooong way away by car afterwards) but this isn’t dealing with my mouse problem. With much regret I I think I have to use killed traps. Not poison - I’d like a powerful trap that puts a mouse out of its misery immediately. Can anyone recommend anything?

I ended up buying some from amazon.

The mice were quite smart and were able to nibble the food from the trap without setting it off, so I placed the food just under the trap spring so the mouse has to put its whole body on the flap, triggering it.

Very effective.

Little Nipper are the best. It's not humane taking mice away from their familiar territory, by the way.

The humane traps aren't humane.

Mice don't like being moved away from their familiar environment so either they walk straight back home again or they die where you have released them, just you don't have to see them die.

Thanks all.
