We've just had the en suite replaced and already where the sealant meets the shower tray, it's beginning to go brownish/blackish. We've got shower panels so no tiles and grouting to deal with, but I really want to keep it all looking new and fresh.

What can I spray on and leave for a while before rinsing off? I do a pretty thorough weekly clean at the moment with mr muscle bathroom spray but it's not shifting everything.

I use Astonish Bathroom Mould and Mildew Blaster in "Apple Burst" (green bottle) nicer , less bleachy smell . Then wipe round with a cloth or use an old toothbrush to clean.

Is your bathroom well ventilated ?

It's an en suite but has a good extractor fan and even a small window. I'll try the Astonish blaster, thank you

Don’t allow it to form rather than trying to remedy it afterwards. Mould gets within the sealant and become very difficult to remove.

Don’t stand bottles on the edge of the shower, it’ll trap moisture.
leave the shower door open to ventilate it.

Most effective - keep a microfibre/absorbent cloth in the bathroom and dry the corners/edges after every use. Literally takes seconds. The mould will only form where there is moisture.
