Washing second hand baby clothes

We've purchased and been handed down some second hand baby clothes, some with stains. Can we wash in bio detergent to shift the stains and then in non-bio detergent? I don't want to upset our new babies skin.

Scoop of vanish in the drum, select the pre wash option on the machine and use your own non bio for the main wash, then dry in full sun as it’s amazing what stains sunlight can lift. Or at least that’s what I do with the toddler’s mucky clothes and it usually does the job! I’d be a bit suspicious of stained second hand new baby clothes though, since that’s surely got to be poo as they’re not mobile or eating anything that isn’t white!
