Can't remove this stain

Teenagers black hoodie has a big stain down the front. Didn't come out in the normal wash. Soaked with Vanish colour but it's still there. What could it be?

Is it a stain or is it bleach?
Anti climb paint? In which case you would need white spirit or turps.

It’s right on the front of the hoodie so it would be a bit odd if he didn’t notice it when it happened, which means he should be able to tell you what it is.

Looks like bleach. It won't come out- yoid have to dye it back to black.

Dye generally doesn't work over bleach unfortunately.

Ther is no bleach in our house

Anti climb paint. Now that sounds possible. I will interrogate him !

Do you load the washing machine on a timer to come on hours later? Fabric softener or even liquid detergent could bleach the fabric if it drips from the drawer and isn't washed soon after.
