Ironing a Dress Shirt

I'm trying to iron a dress shirt for my husband who needs it for tomorrow, its brand new 65% polyester, 35% cotton and it looks terrible.
I've washed it and ironed it straight out of the machine but it's not making any difference. I've also put water on the ironing board. My steam iron usually is a breeze. No time to get it professionally ironed, hoping you wonderful people can help.
It looks like it's been screwed up in the bottom of a bag.

Take a clean tea towel. Press it nice and flat. Put it on top of the shirt, turn the heat of the iron to the max and put some water on top of tea towel . Iron the shirt with the wet tea towel between iron and shirt. Do not let hot iron make contact with the shirt directly.
