How to iron

I’ve started Airbnb so am having to iron my bedding. I find it quite relaxing actually but some sheets are so difficult to get smooth. The hardest is the highest cotton count.
Are there any tips for easy ironing??

For duvet covers fold in half, iron a section and slide it off the board, iron the next section and repeat until you reach the end. Flip and iron the other half. Hope that makes sense, you essentially want to make it into a narrow rectangle that fits the board and iron one half at a time.

High thread count cotton is easier to iron if it is slightly damp or has been hung to dry. It’s a nightmare if it’s tumble dried. So turn down the dryer so that it’s ‘iron dry’ not store dry. If you are not ironing immediately then give it a good shake then roll it up until you can get to
it.
Love that you Ard ironing bedding for your guests. I would really appreciate that detail .

Steam iron for high count cotton. And you still might need a water spray too! Worth the work for me but do you need high count cotton sheets in an Airbnb?

I'm interested in hearing more about you setting up Airbnb, just thinking about doing it here in the small annexe attached to house.... any advice?

Used to have an Airbnb and never ironed bedclothes or anything else. Still consistently got 5 star ratings and earnt superhost status.

I’ve often considered ironing mine on my bed except that I have an electric blanket.
