Hello,
I am looking for some advice on how to clean an original unsealed parquet floor in our house. It’s in the kitchen so does need more cleaning than other wood floors in our house.
When we moved in it was a nice colour, however over time it has developed grey in some areas. Pic attached!
I see so much conflicted advice online - to only use water, only use water and vinegar, to wax, to avoid wax - it’s all so confusing!
Our cleaner seems hellbent on soaking the floor with water, which seems the worst thing you can do from reading.
Any advice on cleaning would be appreciated (best steps, specific products, etc), plus any ideas on how to restore to it’s former glory.
