Vacuum cleaner question

Can anyone recommend me a stick vacuum cleaner for flagstone floors? I moved house last Christmas and thought my hardwood and flagstone would be fine with sweeping and a dustpan and brush. It's pointless though - there are deep grooves in the side of each flagstone where the dust gathers and brushing it just doesn't lift from the grove.

I need a good downstairs hoover - preferably stick (weakling wrists) that will cope well with flagstones.

Any recommendations?

We have large tiles in the utility room, but it's not that big. I do sweep (cat litter box down there) but, as you say, dust gathers between. I leave it there until I vacuum through - just a Shark corded - and then quick mopping.
