Tower fans

Please can anyone advise and recommend a fan. As well as cooling, I would like one that looks good and it not too noisy.
I love the look of the Dyson fans, but I’m not sure if I want to spend £400 on a fan!
John Lewis also have a tower fan and I’ve heard good things about the meaco.

I quite like the look of the meaco. I’m thinking of that or an air cooler .

We have 4 meaco fans and they are brilliant. Really quiet even on a high setting and very effective at cooling. Have one in each bedroom and one downstairs now.

What sizes ? There is a pedestal one, s that worth the money ?

We have 3 1056 non pedestal ones and one of the pedestal ones for our bedroom as otherwise we had to stand it on a stool as we have no side to stand it on! Kids have normal ones on their desks which cool their whole rooms and we have one one the side downstairs.
Got ours from qvc (often have them on offer do you can pay in 4 installments, John lewis (as can pick up in waitrose) and got one direct from meaco for our inlaws (after they borrowed one of ours last year during the heatwave and wanted one themselves).
I love them, discovered them during covid and then gradually bought another each year 😆

I've just got the Duux Whisper Flex Ultimate it has 30 speed settings, can swing side to side as well as up and down and you can turn it on/off and change settings with an app on your phone or use the remote control it comes with.

It's super quiet, you can only hear the air moving rather than a motor noise iyswim, another thing I love about it is the fact that it has its own battery in the base so if you usually have the fan downstairs plugged in but want to take it upstairs at night then you don't need to take the wire up and find a spare socket, you can just run it off it's battery and it'll recharge when you plug it in the next day.
