AAARGGH calpol on my new carpet

my fault for not putting the lid on properly

i've already committed the cardinal sin of rubbing it

then i let it dry and saw it hadn't worked

any ideas how i get it out?

Spnoge with soap and water then pat dry??? Thats what I would do.

Sponge even.
