Just got rid of annoying flies landing on my lamp shade.

Annually flies land on my overhead lamp shades. I hate it. On a whim, I dotted Vicks vapour rub on the bottom rim of the shades.
OMG result! Zero flies hanging around.

OooooOOOoooo victory!
Wonder how long it will last for.
Will the vapo rub be sticky and stick more dust. 🤔
