What are the best products for cleaning windows?

I have a feeling I've heard that Windowlene leaves the windows smeary. Is washing up liquid in warm water a good plan? Or is there a better product? Thanks for any recommendations!

Distilled vinegar is great for cleaning although it pongs for a little bit. Leaves glass streak free.

I copied this text from a Google search result

"Vinegar removes film from glass surfaces and leaves windows streak-free. Use one part white vinegar to one part water. Add a squirt of washing-up liquid if windows are grubby."

I use diluted car windscreen washer detergent in a spray bottle, spray the window then wipe off with a microfibre cloth. Works a treat.

I use white vinegar spray and a glass cloth. You can buy them in £1 shops, Home Bargains etc and they work well.

My go to is the Aldi glass cleaner.

Newspaper!! Wet it with warm water and put washing up liquid on, use a squidgee to wash and then dry newspaper to get the rest. Friend’s boyfriend used to clean windows when he was younger and he swore by it!!
