We are after a cheap-ish range for a rental, we will probably never see the money back, and it will likely only need to be for 18-24 months.
Has to be that size as that’s the current gap, we have no gas, boo.
I sent a Delonghi dual oven induction one back in Feb (£1300) as it was rubbish, looked at the Smeg dual cavity (around £1900) and the second oven is so small as to be almost unusable, something daft like 15cm width. Also, they don’t really have the rep they used to, so is it worth the money?
So now I am looking for something cheap-ish and cheerful. I have had very bad luck with secondhand so I think it has to be new.
Beko and one or two others do a 90cm with just one cavity. Pretty cheap, 700ish.
Not all that bothered about running costs in the short term. If a single cavity costs slightly more than one with 3 cavities but is half the price, it sort of evens itself out, doesn’t it?
Please let me have your recommendations or ‘avoids’, remembering it is only for a short time and we will probably have to leave it here and get nothing for it.
Tyia.
