Problem with my fridge/freezer

Twice now I have gone to get something out of the fridge and the bottom has been swimming in water.

It is very old (about 10yrs+). Does this mean it is on it's way out ??

have you got the back clear of the wall and uncovered at the top ?

Do you have toddlers? I find mine occasionally play with it which means it overcompensates and ends up full of water.

I think so, will go check.

The back at the top was covered, and according to Dd1, there is a packet of crisps down the back.

So will that be it then ?
