Robot vacuum for wonky wooden floors (picture attached)

Hi all, DH and I work demanding FT hours and every time I hoover the house I mutter to myself ‘that’s it, I’m getting a robot vacuum’ but I haven’t taken the plunge because I’m not sure if a robot vacuum would work in our house? It’s a Victorian house with lots of nooks and crannies and thresholds between rooms. Our floors are hardwood. My friends that rave about robot vacuums live in open plan modern homes, so not sure whether their advice would apply to my house. Has anyone successfully used a robot vacuum in a slight wonky home and if so, I’d be very grateful for recommendations

I have lots of metal door thresholds and my robovac has no issues getting over them. Can recommend Eufy - I have an old basic one which has lasted me years and a newer version which creates maps, set no go zones and can be put on a timer.

I live in a Victorian conversion with much wonkier floors than yours, OP, and my Eufy is generally fine. Very occasionally he has got stranded on a door sill, but then he generally disentangles himself and tries successfully from a different angle.

He will hump any cable he bumps into, so I pull them up out of the way, and he is occasionally discovered trying to mate with the base of the standard lamp, but generally I love him and wouldn't be without him.

It seems like a unanimous vote for the cable humping Eufy!

I have similar threshold bars in my home. Only one it struggles with is one where floor is about 1cm lower on one side. It often gets over it eventually but not as seamlessly as where its the same both sides and there's some scuff marks now.
