I've only lived in 2 homes. That was the family home (parents still there now) and the house me and my then boyfriend (now dh) bought. There are no plans to move. I'd like to retire to the seaside!

This is my 8th and I imagine (hope) we will be here a long time now. Maybe a smaller one by the sea in retirement?

On my third house, 45 and hopefully not moving again. It needs work but has the potential to be our dream home so spending money on doing it up. It's taking a lot of money, time and effort and I can't see myself ever wanting to leave.

Four houses including the one I live in now.

This will be my final one. Too much stress moving again.

Two - 18
18-23 (9 lots of student digs)
24-27 - London flat
27-36 - Little house
36-37 - lived with boyfriend - disastrous 😂
37-46 - Cottage
46-47 - ex-dp's horrible house
47-48 - temp flat
48-59 - our current house

That's 18. I plan to stay here for another three years. Then retire, and downsize, making 19. But old age is hard to predict. My dm managed to live independently until about two weeks before the end. Hopefully I can manage the same. 🙂

I am on house number eight. Planning to move abroad so I would think a rental (to see if we like it as much as we think we do) and then a purchase. So 10. DH is only on his fourth though (and nearly 50)

So in number 5 now. Can't see us leaving until the children have flown the nest. Maybe we'll downsize then.

One more, maybe two, long term, but might work abroad for a year in retirement.

I think I'm currently on my 14th home - maybe more - I moved around a lot in my early twenties.
