Label says do not iron, could I use hand steamer instead?

Just that really, stupid designer jacket of DH's, label says cold wash, dry flat, do not iron but the fabric looks like it will dry v wrinkled so I'm wondering if the hand steamer would be ok or likely to ruin it?

If my DH was foolish enough to buy a 'designer' jacket with those care instructions, I think I'd leave it to him to decide what to do (with my preference being he took it to a dry cleaners if that's an option)

Ha, yes I have said much the same, he will be sorting it out himself with my only involvement being asking the question on here because google was inconclusive and he doesn't use MN It's do not dry clean as well or neither of us would be doing it.
