Thinking of booking a well recommended local business but am always a bit leery when strangers are in the house. I will feel more comfortable if I know what to expect while they're here!

Bit leery? Are you expecting oven cleaning totty 😂

We get ours done once a year. They take all the shelves out to the van and perform some magic in there. The inside bits take an hour, or less (3 ovens).

😀 where I'm from, leery is an adjective that means cautious or a bit suspicious! Leer OTOH is a verb with a completely different meaning.

Thanks for the replies, booking today

Worth every penny. Ours hadn't been done for ages what with Covid. It now looks as though you could eat your dinner off it.
I've never had any concerns about them coming into the house. They are professionals with a business to run. They wouldn't last long if they were dodgy.

I found it fascinating. They took the whole door apart. Took all the parts out to the van. Put it all back together like new. Amazing and worth the money.

Ooooh. How much is it?

Worth every penny although they don't clean the top of the cooker

I pay about £40 - single oven, racks and hob cleaned in that. He doesn't use anything harsh/scented so can use it straight away and the only smell is white vinegar
