Help burnt stew!

I have let a pot of mince and carrots burn to the bottom of the pan.I have tipped the remaining into a new pan but it still has a slight burnt taste Can I save it?That'll teach me Hungover and batch cooking is a nono

? Burned stew? Pour the stew into another pan. Don?t scrape up any that sticks?it?ll be singed. Taste the stew in the clean pot to see if it tastes burned. If so, try adding a little wine, cream or sour cream. Don?t let the stew return to a boil if you?ve added sour cream. Chili powder can also mask a singed flavor?of course, then you?d have chili stew, which is exactly what you should call it and no one will know the difference.
