Laundry - Mrs Stewart’s?

Has anyone tried Mrs Stewart’s (link here) liquid bluing for keeping whites white?

I seen it all over TikTok but appears to be more of an American thing. I think it’s meant to cancel out the yellowing of bleach.. although I don’t even add bleach to laundry?

Anyway, thought I’d ask before I turn all of my whites blue 😅.

Mrs. Stewart's, Concentrated Liquid Bluing, 8 fl oz (237 ml)

I was about to ask the same question! Did an online search for how to make dull white shirts bright and the same product came up. I'm not sure if that makes me deeply suspicious or more interested...

I'm tempted to try with an old sheet and see what happens. Or if the sheet turns blue! It's not cheap but it looks as if a little goes a long way.

In the past all white washes used bluing. You just need to be very stingy with the amounts
